The Korean Education Centre in New Zealand is a government organisation representing the Korean Ministry of Education.
The KEC is proud to support NZ schools in establishing the cultural interaction between Korea and NZ and developing a Korean language programme.
The KEC has collaborated with the NA CAPE(an MOU partner of KEC), which the NZ government has been funding, to support the Korean language classes in NZ schools.

The KEC supports NZ schools running the Korean classes as below:
- KEC provides funds for NZ schools to run Korean classes.
If necessary, KEC supports dispatching Korean teachers. - KEC holds Korean Festivals Programme at schools.
Experiencing Korean Culture is such as Taekwondo, K-pop dance, traditional Korean games, Korean Calligraphy, Tea Ceremony. - KEC supports Korean resources.
We donate some selected Korean books to NZ schools to boost students' academic and cultural interests. - KEC presents the Korean Language Award.
The best learners of the year at each school will get the Award.
