Photography Exhibition: Hangeul I met
Collecting Hangeul from All Around the World!

Under the theme ‘Hangeul we met in our daily lives’, the Hangeul Photography
Contest was held for three months from 18 May to 16 August. 

A total of 3,414 photographs were submitted, and the competition ratio was 114:1. While 2,100 entries were submitted by Korean participants, about 1,300 were submitted by foreign participants from 70 countries around the world.

The exhibited photographs capture Hangeul the photographers met in their daily
lives without any special effects or editing. Each of them contains touching and
precious stories of love, comfort, encouragement, hope and being together.

The participants in the contest and the exhibition, including the applicants and
the visitors, live in different time zones and places and use different languages.
Still, we hope that you find this exhibition special and meaningful as you understand,
empathize and communicate with each other through these photographs of
Hangeul in our daily lives.
